We were unable to hold a conversation without shouting, unable to watch TV unless the volume was very loud and, most disappointingly, unable to get to bed early (ear plugs barely helped). However, it looks stunning and has provided much more room and a lovely new bar area for the staff to work in.The only disappointment this year was the fact that the train that takes you up the nearby Hartkaiser mountain was being renovated into a new 10 person gondola and no other transport had been provided by the local tourist board to get you to the top of the mountain and the restaurant there.We will definitely be seeing the wonderful Family Hochfilzer and staff at the AktivHotel Hochfilzer again very soon.
